The Meaning of Thanksgiving to Me

Thanksgiving is a combination of being grateful for all of the good that we have in our lives, and having an appreciation for where it all came from.

"Everything good comes from God and God is the source of all good things.

He makes it to rain upon the just and the unjust alike and bestows His mercy on both the wicked and righteous, of His loving kindness there is no limit.
We are made righteous by His mercy and justified by His acts of kindness; all of the good that we may have was bestowed upon us by Him.
Therefore we cannot take credit for any good thing that exists in our lives because all of the good that is in us was bestowed to us by Him.
Seeing that both the righteous and unrighteous have good things bestowed to them by God; what then makes a righteous man righteous?
A righteous man then is only an unrighteous man who acknowledges God and gives thanks for the good things God has given him."

Dealing With Fear

When you fear any person, place, thing or condition, you have given something other than God power over you, and that will effect your life in an undesirable way until you change your belief about the false cause of your Good.

"If you feel the shakiness of fear, you can say, 'There is nothing to fear, I am clinging to the loving God.' You can say, 'I will not doubt the Good. I believe in the loving God.' You can say, 'I do not believe in appearances. I believe in God here present in loving kindness.' ...you will find it most comforting in the world to say, 'I do not believe in the power of a whole army of evil conditions. I believe God is bringing us all through safely.'"

Hard Choices We Have to Make

Our hard choice: To run around helter skelter, like a bull in a china shop, or to move around inside the Zone, where we are in harmony with our surroundings, feeling love and joy in our activities. Which path do we wish, the low road, or the High road? What would your day be like if you loved every minute of it and saw the Highest and Best in everyone that you interacted with? The low road to happiness is based on fear, and  has led us virtually into all of the problems we are facing today, personally as well as with family, friends, nationally and internationally. The High Road is based on Love, and is the way that will get us out of our self defeating creations, and bring us into the wondrous world that we have been promised by the saints, sages, masters and revelators of all ages and religions.

"Most (people) rarely align with their true power, because it seems illogical to them that there is power in relaxation, in letting go, or in love or joy or bliss. Most people do not understand that their true power lies in releasing resistance—which is the only obstacle to their true power. Most people do not expect their path to great abundance to be one of ease and of joy. They have been taught that struggle and hardship and sacrifice are requirements that must be met before the reward of great abundance can be realized. Most do not understand that the very struggle they deliberately involve themselves in, in their quest for success and advantage, actually works against them. There are so many things that you have been taught to believe that are counter to the powerful Laws of the Universe that it is difficult for you to think your way out. And that is the reason that we present this path of much less resistance. We want you to breathe rather than try, to relax rather than offer effort, to smile rather than struggle, to be rather than do. For your true power is experienced only from inside the Vortex."
Abraham, by Jerry and Esther Hicks

“The highest level of creativity consists in being, not doing. When the being is intense enough, when the words are spoken enough, when the thoughts are thought enough, the doing will automatically follow.”
Marianne Williamson

You Already Have What It Takes

You already have what it takes to transcend any problem that you may be facing, no matter what it may be. Keep reaching within to that perfect part of you that will give you the needed strength, wisdom and attitude that will transform your experience into the glory of triumph over all so-called difficulties.

Affirmation: No matter what my mind may be telling me, I already have the power, strength, wisdom and attitude to transform whatever problem I may be facing into the next expression of Divine Grace and Glory.

Doing What You Want to Do

"You are grown up now! You can do anything you want to do. Whenever you do what pleases you, wonderful things occur. It is a way of being nurturing to yourself, and as you do so, you find more fun in your world. You are allowed to have more fun. The more fun you have, the more other people love you."

Why Our Attitude About Our Work Is Important

Since we spend a large amount of our time at our place of employment, it would be to our advantage to make the time spent there as satisfying as possible. If we are not doing this, we are at conflict with our own Highest and Best interests, and unwanted experiences are the result.

"Is it an employment opportunity or bondage? Because what you really want is freedom, many of you equate working for other people as bondage. But if you would realize that the corporation, as an entity, is not so different from the individual, it might be easier to understand the employer's decisions. Long before the buildings or the workers, the visionary of the corporation had an idea for something that began summoning Energy. So years later maybe you are hired as a part of that team and, without realizing it, you are now the beneficiary of that continuing flowing Energy. When you step into one of those employment positions, Life Force is summoned through you because of the vision of the founder—unless you're bucking the current. Most get into that fast moving stream and paddle against the current—and then complain about it being a hard ride—where they could get into their canoe and easily paddle with the fast moving current. You can soar and thrive in any environment as long as you are not seeing things that you are using as your reason to paddle against the current. And so, it doesn't really matter what others are deciding. The questions is: "As I am choosing to stand here, it's a way for dollars to flow through me in exchange for the effort I am offering. Am I predominantly letting the Energy flow through me, or not? Am I letting it in?"

Giving Thanks For The Opportunity

"I give thanks for every opportunity to demonstrate the power of Divine Intelligence to work through me. Anytime I am presented with a challenge, I know that it is an opportunity from God, my employer; and I quiet my intellect, turn within, and wait for positive words to fill my mind."

Life's Mysteries

Some things will always remain a mystery at this level of consciousness, and it is right that they should. So do not try to solve all the mysteries. Give the universe a chance. It will unfold itself in due course. Enjoy the experience of becoming.

Alan Cohen's Post on Handling Negativity

This is Alan Cohen's excellent post on dealing with our own and other's negativity. It is worth reading and pondering. My favorite book of his is, "Why Your Life Sucks," which is available at Amazon.

The Strongest Currency

Native American folklore tells of a brave who came to the tribe’s medicine man and told him, “Two wolves are continually fighting in my head. One of them is kind, beautiful, and sane. The other is ugly, vicious, and crazy. Which one will win?”

The elder replied, “The sane one will win.”

“Why is that?” asked the brave.

“Because that is the one you will feed,” answered the medicine man.

Attention is the strongest currency at your disposal. Whatever you invest your attention in, you will get more of. Many people take diligent care about how they invest their money. Few people take such diligent care about how they invest their attention. Money attention begets more money, while happiness attention begets more happiness.

A college behavioral psychology class did an experiment that proved this principle. The professor had a habit of pacing back and forth in front of the classroom while he lectured. When the professor stood on the left side of the classroom, the students paid attention to him, took notes, asked questions, and laughed at his jokes. When the professor stood on the right side of the classroom, the students looked away, did not engage with the lesson, and ignored the teacher. It was not long before the professor was teaching strictly from the left side of the classroom.

When someone tries to insult or belittle you, they are standing on the right side of the classroom, and that is the time to withdraw your attention and energy from them. When they engage with you in a kind and meaningful way, that’s the time to empower them. You are sending them the message, “If you care to speak to me intelligently and respectfully, I will be happy to interact with you. Otherwise I will not respond. I do not engage with people who abuse me.” You might speak these words or you might simply let the principle quietly be your guide. If you are true to it, you will get results.

For a day, week, or lifetime, practice giving your attention to that which you wish to increase, and withdraw your attention from that which you wish to decrease. It will be the wisest investment you make.

Changing the World

How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.
Anne Frank

Our prayers can, and will, transform the world we live in if we but believe that they will. Pray and meditate on some key spiritual statements from your favorite source and ask God for the Truth about them. Here are a few that you may ponder, but those statements that stand out to you are the best to use:

The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof.

The Government is on God's shoulders.

God is my Life, God is my Mind, God is my Being, God is my Body.

There is infinite Power and Wisdom within me to completely transform my world.

Update

Our attitude about life shapes the world we live in. This is stated in one way or another in virtually every religion on earth.

Meeting Life's Problems Spiritually

No matter what your problem is, God is bigger. No matter what your weakness is, your potential for strength is bigger. No matter what your fear is, love is bigger. And so it is. Affirm it. Know it. Receive it. Become it.
Marianne Williamson

Whether we are aware of it or not (and usually we are not), "God is closer than our very breathing, nearer than our own hands and feet," and is only awaiting our invitation to come into our lives. We were not meant to live in lack, limitation or inharmony, but we must open out the door to allow our own imprisoned splendor to come into expression. We can do this by "Affirming, Knowing and Receiving" the Love that is ours by Divine right, even though our five physical senses may testify differently.

Resting in a Greater Sense of Peace

My Love encompasses all. As I drop the fear that anything could go wrong, I rest in a greater sense of Peace, which opens the door for good things to come. This is the "Law of Attraction" in a higher sense than is traditionally taught or spoken of.

Let there be Joy and Laughter

Being Guided From Within

“Our inner voice whispers ever so gently… within us are all the answers to our problems. Success increases dramatically when we still the inner nature of our being and it is then that we hear the directions being given us. Our intuition becomes sharpened and, if we trust it, leads us to the paths of peace and gain.”

What Really Matters

At the end of your life you will know that nothing you have done will matter - only who you have been while you have done it. Have you been happy? Have you been caring, and compassionate, and considerate of others? You will see that it is who you have been, not what you have done, that matters to your soul.

Recognizing My Source

The Spirit within me is God.
The Living Spirit Almighty is within me now.
Spirit is the sustaining Principle of my life.
I open my mind to Its influx.
I open my consciousness to Its inflowing.

Believe in Yourself

Believe in Yourself

You exist that Divine feeling, fire, imagination, and creativity may be expressed through you. The Spirit comes to you with a new and fresh creativity. You need not ask what others have done or how they have done it. Be yourself and express life as you find it. Never imitate. Trust the self. Find the self in God and God in the self.

There is a pattern of perfection at the center of your being which has never been touched by disease or misfortune. Your intellect senses this through intuition; your imagination feels it by divine right; your inward consciousness knows it through faith. What you are trying to do is awaken your whole being to spiritual awareness.

Freedom is the basic concept and construct of life everywhere, because freedom is the basic nature of God. All systems which reduce, restrict, impinge upon, or eliminate freedom in any way are systems which work against life itself.

Why the Rich Get Richer (Where's Mine?)

If we are not at peace with the wealth, accomplishments and positions in life of others, we have cut ourselves off from our own Good.
By rejoicing in the Good of others, we place ourselves into a state of Allowing Good to come into our own lives, often in seeming miraculous ways.
One of the quickest ways to block, hinder or remove the good in your own life is to become jealous, resentful or disdainful of the good of others, no matter how it was attained.
One of the quickest ways to increase our good is to bless and admire the good of others.

Why? All Good comes from God. When we attack Good anywhere else in the world, we are attacking our own connection with God, thereby increasing that which is not-Good in our own lives.

There is no peace in righteous indignation, jealousy or vindictiveness.
If we are not at peace, we are not in harmony with the Highest and Best outcomes for our life experiences, because we have blocked the free flow of Spirit in our lives, and then blamed people, places, things or conditions for what is going on around us. Even if a person has all of the wealth and power in the world, if he has not peace, he has opened up the door for the unwanted, for it is that important, that we be at peace, so that the Spirit and things of Spirit can flow into our lives.

The Root of Humanity's Dysfunction

We cannot harm or mistreat another person unless we first see them as being inferior to us or deserving to be discriminated against or punished for their actions. When we sit in judgment of others we are opening the door for their unfair treatment. This is especially true in the areas of our differences in race, religion, politics, and social-economic status.

"I believe that the idea that God is a being who can be damaged or offended by God’s creations, and who feels a need to punish human beings for not doing what God demands, is at the root and at the heart of humanity’s so-often dysfunctional dealings with each other."
Neale Donald Walsch

Resting in the Silence

I rest in the "deep Silence of My Peace," and "Surrender all of this world to Thee, oh Lord." I behold the Glory of God, Omniactive as far as my eyes can see and my ears can hear. I observe the Good, ever flowing into the space of my beholding - cleansing and purifying my thoughts, attitudes and beliefs, and overturning the soil of the earth so that new plants of Love, Joy and Plenty may flourish in the Garden of my Soul.

Affluence is All Around Us

“Affluence is all around us. We don’t have to force it. It wants to come to us, but we have to make the way clear for it to come to us by creating within our thoughts and minds the feeling that affluence is our birthright. We deserve it. We don’t have to fight for it. We don’t have to steal from somebody else so that we can make it. All we have to remember is that there’s enough for all of us.”
John Harricharan

Getting What We Want in Life

The world conspires to give you what you don't want, so, the secret is not to desire nothing, as many spiritual adepts do, but to joyfully, enthusiastically praise and give thanks for what you do want, which creates room in your life for your Good to come into your experience.

Finding Balance in Our Lives

We have different degrees of happiness and different kinds of suffering. Material objects give rise to physical happiness, while spiritual development gives rise to mental happiness. Since we experience both physical and mental happiness, we need both material and spiritual development. This is why, for our own good and that of society we need to balance material progress with inner development. Dalai Lama

Changing Our Devils Into Angels

This world may present pictures of inharmony which are contrary to my standards of good, but when this happens it is my right and my duty to transform the way that I am reacting to them so that I will not be seeing myself as a victim of my circumstances. I recently answered a lady who had a "deep hurt from two years ago" that she had difficulty getting past. She also wanted to know if you could hurt and forgive at the same time.
My answer to her second question was "No, you haven't fully forgiven yourself, or another, until the pain has been transformed into a much higher emotion than what you are experiencing. This is possible, but it will take work on the part of anyone who has yet to forgive. I then shared my own thoughts about how to deal with the hurt so that it wouldn't run her life:

I found that by allowing the energy of the pain to be there, and then changing my self-dialogue from "I hurt," to "Forgive them, they know not what they do," or "I live in a loving, supporting, joyous Universe" (or something similar), has worked wonders for me. If I make a positive affirmation out of the negative, it tends to diffuse the negative energy. I once used this method to forgive someone and it only took about 5 minutes to do, where before, it had been eating at me for months. I had to have the same intensity of my new attitude that I had when I first accepted it, the lie about myself and/or others, as what was really true in the whole situation.

"If we are seeing less than God, we are seeing incorrectly."
Joel S. Goldsmith, 1892-1964, a Christian Mystic and Healer that had a worldwide ministry and wrote over 30 books.

Update:

The hardest part of forgiveness, or anything else that is uncomfortable, is taking that first step. Once that first step is taken it will get easier to do.

Update II

I just ran across this article on forgiveness which coincides with much of my post:
Forgiveness Brings Healing Like Nothing Else

The Temple Within You

Imagine a temple inside your mind, a haven from the chaos of the world. Visit often.
Marianne Williamson

You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where you don't know what was in the newspaper that morning, you don't know who your friends are, you don't know what you owe anybody, you don't know what anybody owes you. This is a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be.

The Positive Results From Meditation

It looks like more of the leading edge scientists are discovering the positive effects of deep prayer and meditation:

Science of Mind magazine, June 2011
From the Science & Spirituality column by neuroscientists Waldman & Newberg, "Taming the Impatient Brain"

What happens in the brain when we learn patience? We stimulate the insula and striatum. For those of us who do spiritual practice, this is an exciting discovery: Meditation and deep prayer build patience because they stimulate the same reward circuits in the brain. At that moment, we feel satisfied. We don't NEED to have more of anything--food, money, affection--because we're getting it from the states of peacefulness and positive feelings being generated within the brain. Brainscan studies of meditators also show increased activity in the orbitofrontal cortex, an area that regulates impulsive decision making.

Have You Forgiven Yourself Yet?

Within us all is the Forgiving Power, that which frees us from all limitations and the results of our past decisions, and is keeping our minds focused on undesired events and outcomes, rather than on our own ability to shape our lives in much more fulfilling ways. The only thing that is really weighing us down is our belief that we are being punished for our past mistakes or held down by our present circumstances.

I forgive myself for having accepted limited concepts of myself and others, and for any harm that this may have caused us. I forgive all others for any judgments they may have had towards me, and any harm it may have caused to either of us. "If we would have known better, we would have done better."

From a former post:

One of the biggest obstacles to overcome is guilt from our past. Refuse to accept the unnecessary baggage that would keep you mired in self-destructive patterns of thinking. There are much higher and better ways to transform your life and the conditions you are facing.

Our World is a Projection of Our Consciousness

My world is a projection of my consciousness, which is the reality I have created, an accumulation of my lifelong thoughts, beliefs and decisions I have made as a result of my experiences. They have colored my perceptions so that I may not have seen the unlimited Good that has been all around me, waiting for my allowance for it to enter.

There is No Accuser Within Me

When we are not resisting life we are in the Flow, a modern term for the magic of Grace, and we open ourselves to all forms of Good. There is an "overwhelming" amount of Good, just waiting to come into our lives, that has been kept out by our own negativity. Let that part of us die, that we may be reborn of the Spirit and be blessed with the Keys to the Kingdom, "as heirs, joint heirs with Christ."

The Power of One

When I consciously realize my Oneness with Source, I Am One with all Presence, Power and Intelligence. Then my Inner Being has a doorway for It to come forth into my life, transforming it into the next higher expression of Harmony and Fulfillment.

When I turn over my problems to the Divine Manager, they are taken care of in ways that are from another Realm of Possibility and Goodness that is far beyond my own comprehension and reasoning as to just how it all happened.

UPDATE:
The attitude we have towards our Inner Life speaks volumes about the life we live.

The Tao of Leadership

I found this on Global One TV: Consciousness-Based Television Online, and will also share the link so you may check it out. This is the wonderful thing about the age we are in, where we have instant access to a wide variety of spiritual teachers of different disciplines, each with their own unique way of expressing the same Truth, that God is all, and we are all One in the Spirit.

Consciousness-Based Television Online

The Tao of Leadership

if you want to be a great leader
you must learn to follow the tao
stop trying to control
let go of fixed plans and concepts
and the world will govern itself

the more prohibitions you have
the less virtuous people will be
the more weapons you have
the less secure people will be
the more subsidies you have
the less self-reliant people will be

therefore the master says:
i let go of the law
and people become honest
i let go of economics
and people become prosperous
i let go of religion
and people become serene
i let go of all desire for the common good
and the good becomes common as grass

About Love

As God's child, you don't have to do anything to earn God's Love, you just have to be open to receive it, which may be a little difficult when you believe that love is absent, but that is the illusion that all of God's children are here to see through. Even the lowest of us are stronger, wiser and more loving than we think.

"Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we have learned here. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and the acceptance of love back into our hearts." ~Marianne Williamson~

God is Not Hiding From Us

There is nothing hiding God but our own belief that God is invisible, hidden from man by a veil of ignorance, superstition and false beliefs.
If, "The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof," and, "God is of too pure eyes to behold inequity," as stated in the Bible, then, if I am seeing less than perfection, then I am not seeing correctly.

"I do not believe in the invisibility of God, and do not hold the world in deception."

Praying For the Water of the Fukushima Nuclear Plant

UPDATE from Masaru Emoto:

Prayer Ceremony for the Water :
My message went around the whole world with tremendous speed, and the feedback of resonance which so many people participated in the prayer to water returned to me. The number of the feedbacks that I know for certain is at least more than 100,000.

As a matter of fact, it is important that we make this movement grow bigger and let many more friends learn about it. So I would like to continue to do the water ceremony for Fukushima Nuclear Plant for 10 more days, and will offer the prayer every day at noon between the 1st and the 10th of April with you all.

To refresh our conscious mind of everyday prayer, please let me suggest that we change the words each day. From many ideas and opinions that so many people have given me, I would like to select one to inform you.

The word of prayer of today, April 1st, is as follows:

To waters facing toward Fukushima Nuclear Plant,
We are sorry,
Please forgive us,
We thank you,
And we love you.

Masaru Emoto

ORIGINAL POST:

I found this on Alan Cohen's Facebook page, which is reposted from Masaru Emoto, the Japanese scientist who has done extensive research and written several books on the power of our thoughts on water. First, I will present a YouTube video of some of his works, and then share Alan Cohen's post.

March 31, 2011 (Thursday) @12:00 noon in each time zone. Please say the following phrase: “The water of Fukushima Nuclear Plant, we are sorry to make you suffer. Please forgive us. We thank you, and we love you.”
Please say it aloud or in your mind. Repeat it three times as you put your hands together in a prayer position. (requested by Masaru Emoto)

Transcript of a message from Masaru Emoto - known for his work with changing water crystals through positive thoughts
by Alan H. Cohen on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 9:44pm

To All People Around the World

Please send your prayers of love and gratitude to water at the nuclear plants in Fukushima, Japan!

By the massive earthquakes of Magnitude 9 and surreal massive tsunamis, more than 10,000 people are still missing…even now… It has been 16 days already since the disaster happened. What makes it worse is that water at the reactors of Fukushima Nuclear Plants started to leak, and it’s contaminating the ocean, air and water molecule of surrounding areas.

Human wisdom has not been able to do much to solve the problem, but we are only trying to cool down the anger of radioactive materials in the reactors by discharging water to them.

Is there really nothing else to do?

I think there is. During over twenty year research of hado measuring and water crystal photographic technology, I have been witnessing that water can turn positive when it receives pure vibration of human prayer no matter how far away it is.

Energy formula of Albert Einstein, E=MC2 really means that Energy = number of people and the square of people’s consciousness.

Now is the time to understand the true meaning. Let us all join the prayer ceremony as fellow citizens of the planet earth. I would like to ask all people, not just in Japan, but all around the world to please help us to find a way out the crisis of this planet!!

The prayer procedure is as follows.

Name of ceremony:

“Let’s send our thoughts of love and gratitude to all water in the nuclear plants in Fukushima”

Day and Time:

March 31st, 2011 (Thursday)

12:00 noon in each time zone

Please say the following phrase:

“The water of Fukushima Nuclear Plant, we are sorry to make you suffer. Please forgive us. We thank you, and we love you.”

Please say it aloud or in your mind. Repeat it three times as you put your hands together in a prayer position.

Please offer your sincere prayer.

Thank you very much from my heart.

With love and gratitude,

Masaru Emoto

My Happiness Depends on My Attitude (Updated)

"Tell everyone you know: "My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook." And then demonstrate it. Be happy, no matter what they're doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for the way you feel -- and then, you'll love them all. Because the only reason you don't love them, is because you're using them as your excuse to not feel good."

Abraham

UPDATE:

"When you finally get it that the Universe is only answering your vibration, then you understand that if you are victim to anything, it's only your haphazard offering of vibration. The real desire that is being born within you is, "I want to vibrate on purpose. I want to set my Tone. I want to conclude and decide and offer it consistently and then watch the results of it." You cannot get it done, ever, and you cannot get it wrong. So you might as well relax and start having fun with this."

Abraham

UPDATE:

The best thing you could do for anyone that you love, is be happy! And the very worst thing that you could do for anyone that you love, is be unhappy, and then ask them to to try to change it, when there is nothing that anybody else can do that will make you happy. If it is your dominant intent to hold yourself in vibrational harmony with who you really are, you could never offer any action that would cause anybody else to be unhappy.

Abraham

We Must Stand Firm in Truth

We must stand-fast in our knowing and affirming the Truth, as that is what changes and clarifies the distorted pictures of "reality" into ever unfolding, higher concepts of Good. We have been told by all of the Great Lights that have walked on planet Earth to "Have Faith," as that will bring the Good into our lives that is rightfully ours by our Divine Birthright, but we must be firm and not give in to appearances.

"You have the power to be firm. God is, and God is present. Be firm. Call on God. Call again. Be determined not to be refused. God in you has Supreme rights in the universe. The God in the universe can be plainly seen by insisting."
Emma Curtis Hopkins, The Judgment Series

Great Message From a Young Teacher

They say, "Out of the mouths of babes," and it is no more true than in this YouTube video that a friend sent to me on Facebook. Here is an interview with a girl, approx 10 years old, that is into acting and meditating, and she has some very interesting views about life. Such a delight. Watch and see.

Great Message and You Will be Surprised at the Teacher

The Doorway Is Waiting to Be Opened

The Doorway to Infinity is there for all to open, yet it cannot be forced by the selfish and arrogant, nor entered into by the cringeling. We must enter in as heirs, "joint heirs with Christ to all of the Heavenly Riches."

"Your objective is to ask love within you to make its presence known, to have an awareness of being so full of love that this is what you have to give away. That's all you have to do--ask and receive. By doing just that, you'll attract more of what you're giving away."
Dr. Wayne Dyer

"When we are spiritual, we do not try to bring great things to pass, yet they come to pass. The most wonderful achievements of mankind have been brought to pass by confidence in some wonder-working unseen power."

UPDATE:
Our Inner Being is ALWAYS standing by, awaiting our invitation to reconnect. The separation has been in our false perceptions.

A Message From Louise L. Hay About the Recent Events in Japan

Louisa Hay posted this on her FaceBook FanPage about the recent events in Japan:

http://www.facebook.com/?sk=lf#!/notes/louise-l-hay/a-message-from-louise-l-hay-about-the-recent-events-in-japan/10150118164382252

Regarding the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan, we can see this as a frightening time, or you can see these problems as opportunities to create healing. How you choose to use your mind is up to you. You can add to the problem or you can help heal it.

When I hear of any crises in the world, I immediately surround the whole situation with white light. I send love and healing energy to everyone connected with it. I suggest everyone take a moment today to close your eyes, and send love and healing energy to the people of Japan.

I seldom reads newspapers or watch TV news. I refuse to clutter my mind with most media turbulence. The media is good at stirring up our emotions and selling fear. If you read a newspaper from cover to cover every day, you’ll live in fear. They want you to buy a new paper each day to find out what to be afraid of that day. It’s the same with the television news. If you want to sleep poorly, watch the late-night news just before you go to sleep.

So, know that we each live under the law of our own consciousness. You are a beautiful, wonderful creation of Life. Your strength comes from your connection to Source. Living in constant gratitude and appreciation brings good into our lives.

For those who wish to send a financial contribution, my understanding is that the best organization that is doing the most good right now, is the Red Cross. To donate, go to www.redcross.org.

Let’s you and I, every time the thought of unrest in Japan comes to mind, say with conviction:

ALL IS WELL. OUT OF THIS EXPERIENCE ONLY GOOD WILL COME. I SEND WAVES OF PEACE, SAFETY AND HARMONY FOR ALL OF LIFE.

I love you,

Louise

A Prayer For World Peace

"I know there is but One Mind, which is the mind of God, in which all people live and move and have their being.

I know there is a divine pattern for humanity and within this pattern there is infinite harmony and peace, cooperation, unity, and mutual helpfulness.

I know that the mind of humankind, being one with the mind of God, discovers the method, the way, and the means best fitted to permit the flow of Divine Love between individuals and nations.

Thus harmony, peace, cooperation, unity, and mutual helpfulness are experienced by all.

I know there is a free interchange of ideas, of cultures, of spiritual concepts, of ethics, of educational systems and scientific discoveries; for all good belongs to all alike.

I know that, because Divine Mind has created us all, we are bound together in one infinite and perfect unity.

I know that all people and all nations remain individual but unified for the common purpose of promoting peace, happiness, harmony, and prosperity.

I know that deep within each person the Divine Pattern of perfect peace is already implanted.

I now declare that in each person and in leaders of thought everywhere this Divine Pattern moves into action and form, to the end that all nations and all people live together in peace, harmony, and prosperity forever.

And so it is."

Pulling Myself Up by My Own Bootstraps

My strong thoughts and affirmations of Good create my connection with the "morphic field" of Good, which I can dwell in at any time and pull myself up by my own bootstraps to where I live in peace and harmony. I don't need to fight all of the real or imagined errors that I become aware of; I need to allow the Good to enter into my own life by affirming it as already being there, and not allowing my imagination to drag me back down into the human abyss.

Update:
The Universe stands before those that Believe, waiting to be called upon to be transformed into ever greater forms of Good.

Update:
"Spirit come forth!" is "My Cry of Freedom."

Update:
"Restorations hail from above. Expect greatly from above and greatly shall restorations multiply."

The Divine Contract

This is from Heather K. O'Hara and is reprinted with her permission. I will also place a link to her Facebook Fan Page where she has some Good things to say:

The Divine Contract

There is no other in this world given the right or the power to define
who you are.
No one shall rob you of your value, nor shall any other determine your
worth.
None shall steal your integrity, decide your character, or destroy your
authenticity.
No other shall discredit your success, seize your potential or dismantle
your honor; and no one shall discourage your dreams, erase your spirit,
or dissuade you from your truth.
None are given the power to diminish your love, shatter your
confidence, efface your trust, or extinguish your passion.
No one shall lead you where you do not choose to go, nor shall
anyone interrupt your unique relationship with your Self or your God.
Your free will is your right of empowerment. You, and only you, have
the intrinsic design and the divine authority to walk beyond anything or
anyone who does not enhance, encourage, or inspire your greatness.
No other is permitted to confiscate your happiness and replace it with
guilt or fear… You have not traveled this great distance to be anything
less than your own magnificence; and you are entitled to extraordinary
joy. Your entitlement is your most powerful virtue.
Be this virtue.
There is no need to buy a ticket when you are the train.

Heather is asking those of us that agree with this to go to her Facebook Fan Page, sign your name and share it with your friends:

"It’s the perfect time to review and renew “The Divine Contract” and I’d love to see a thousand signatures or more in the comments section below by this time tomorrow! Please sign your name if you agree to it and then share it with your dearest friend(s), and please ask them to sign it too—together we ARE the train! Much love to all, Heather"

When Life May Look the Darkest

Whenever we feel guilty about one of our "masterpieces," those things that haunt us and drag us down, keep in mind that there is a part of us that loves and accepts us, just the way we are, no matter what we may have done.

It is the job of the carnal mind, a.k.a. devil, to invalidate us and make us feel rotten, no matter what we accomplish in life.
It is the job of our Inner Being to Love us unconditionally. It is not even aware of our failings.

When life may look the darkest
And we are wondering
Just what to do,
Keep in mind that we have
An Inner Self that is already full
Of Love, Joy and Forgiveness
That is always whispering
I Love You.

"'I forgive myself, and then I move on.'
You can sit there forever, lamenting about how bad you've been, feeling guilty until you die, and not one tiny slice of that guilt will do anything to change a single thing in the past."
Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

Update
Guilt is self destructive and does more harm than the original act of "falling short of the mark," if it is used for anything other than a wake-up-call.

Align With the One Power

I Am thankful to the God that really IS, that the things of this world that are thought to have power, really don't. There is only One Power in the Universe, that Power is Good, and as I align myself with that One Power, the claims that there are other powers disappear back into their native nothingness from which they came.

"You are the door to the Divine, not the doer." Richard Bartlett

"My Good is unmixed with evil of any kind. My God does not permit such conditions in His Kingdom."
Emma Curtis Hopkins

"There is no power but God; the powers that be are ordained of God."
Romans 13:1 KJV

Dwell in the Truth. Affirm it over and over until you feel unburdened by the shackles of so-called limitation.

My Healing Power

The Christ within me is My Healing Power. It is also my redeeming power, my forgiving power and my prospering power. There is no so-called power of this world that can stand before the Realized Christ. As I take one aspect of this Truth and ponder it and meditate upon it, a transformation of my consciousness takes place, and as this transformation takes place, my outer world follows closely behind, depending upon the intensity of my realization of the Truth.

An Affirmation of Harmony

I align myself with Divine Good and Order. I Am in tune with the Infinite. Every area of my life is Blessed with the Spirit of Wholeness and Perfection, Strength and Power, Love, Harmony and Happiness. All whom I meet and all within range of my consciousness are greeted with a "Holy Kiss," my recognition of their Inner Being as being Perfect and operating under God's Grace.

Our Objective is Love

I appreciate the Love, Joy and Harmony in my life, it is what feeds my Soul with the riches of God's Glory.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud."
1 Corinthians 13:4

"The people in this world cannot appear differently to us until we think differently of them."

Here is a YouTube video from Dr. Wayne Dyer on Love:

"Your objective is to ask love within you to make its presence known, to have an awareness of being so full of love that this is what you have to give away. That's all you have to do--ask and receive. By doing just that, you'll attract more of what you're giving away."

A Limited Concept of God

A limited concept of God (Good) produces limited expressions of Good in our lives. That is why it is wise to let go of all of the old concepts of God, and let God define what Divinity is to you, instead of trying to force life to fit into your concepts of reality.

Update:
An understanding of a God of Love is many times more powerful than beliefs of a punishing God that is ready to smack us down for the slightest err. Even in our darkest hours God is still there, waiting for our invitation to enter in to our hearts, minds and lives.

Unhappiness is a Wake-Up Call

Unhappiness is a wake up call, and that is its only purpose in life. Once we have become aware of, "This isn't it, and I don't like it," it is important to not resist it, but drop it at the Altar of Truth, get back into the Silence and declare what is real and true. "This isn't Real, I'm done with it now. Only God is Real, and there is no absence of God or things of God, for the Omnipotence of God is Omnipresent and always Good. This that I am beholding is just nothingness; it has no power and it has no law to support it."

Update:
If we are seeing anything less than Perfection, it is our wake-up call to get up to date with God. "There is nothing wrong with the Earth in my idea of Perfection. Perfection is Good, Good is God, God is Perfection. If I am seeing anything as being less than perfect, I am not seeing correctly, for in God's Kingdom all is well, and very well indeed! If God didn't make it, it wasn't made."

Opening the Door to Infinity

When we are Loving and Joyful, we are opening the door to Infinity. We are many times more likely to transcend problems and be successful in our lives when we have a loving, joyful outlook on life. It may be difficult, given our circumstances, to get to a place of not resisting our circumstances, and that is why it is best to start with an attitude of appreciating the Good that we have in our lives, even if we have to exaggerate or make things up. Your subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between what is "real" and what is fantasy, but if you dwell on mental pictures long enough, you will start to become like the pictures of your visualizations, no matter how creative or destructive they may be.

Here is a You Tube video display of the words from Summer Raven's, "Beware What You Tell Yourself," which was from the "Oneness Space," that came out in the early 1970's:

What is Freedom?

Man is a freedom seeking being. Anything that he believes has power over him he has given his power to. There will come a time when he will want to see it differently and he will rebel against the situation he has created, while not even realizing that he is the one that set it up that way in the first place. This is called the merry-go-round of life, and will continue until he awakens to the true cause in his life. The statement, "attitude is everything" is his wake up call, and once he gets this his journey of awakening to his true nature will have begun.

"Freedom is the basic concept and construct of life everywhere, because freedom is the basic nature of God. All systems which reduce, restrict, impinge upon, or eliminate freedom in any way are systems which work against life itself."

Neale Donald Walsch

Update:
We are free when we hold no one in bondage. Mental bondage is one of the biggest forms of slavery that is prevalent on our planet and most of us are not even aware how deep this is.

Update:
To lose the idea of dominion is to lose the idea of freedom. This is the secret doctrine open freely to him that receives it in truth by giving his God and his neighbor absolute freedom."

What I Manifest in My Life

What I behold in my heart is what I manifest in my life. If I were to think that this was some kind of cosmic joke, that I need not be too concerned about, then I would soon be awakened to the Divine sense of humor. It may be true that "attitude is everything," but having a "Right Attitude" is a lot more joyful and fulfilling.

Update:
"This Peace which I Am is Governor of all the world. It is the poise of mind which regulates the thoughts of men."

Emma Curtis Hopkins

Why Elitism is Self Defeating

An attitude of elitism, in any field of endeavor, places one outside the Kingdom of God, and by the degree in which this attitude is held, will be the degree in which we deny ourselves of what we most yearn for, which is the Grace of God, where all is well and the miraculous happens.

Being Thankful (Updated)

In everything give thanks. Be grateful and appreciative so that the hard shell of human belief may be dissolved by the Light of Truth. Then there is room for Spirit to enter so that Good may be realized in our experience. It is the negativity, hates and fears that block the Good from flowing freely in our lives. When we peacefully rest in the silence there is room for God's Grace to operate.

Update: January 24, 2011 5:24 PM
There is always something to celebrate, so long as life is being lived. Seeing your cup as half full rather than half empty is more than a sappy aphorism. It is the key to enduring happiness.

Neale Donald Walsch

I Am Not

I am not my personality, possessions, history or so many pounds of flesh. I am Spirit, and when I forget that I am Spirit, I fall back into the belief in what I am not. When I remember and know who I am and what I am, I have access to Infinity and am an instrument and outlet for all of the Heavenly Riches, to bless not only myself, but all who are within range of my consciousness.

Update One: January 21, 2011 11:44 PM
I am not what I have thought myself to be, thank goodness...

Friday, January 21, 2011

Why Should We Question Authority?

That which we submit ourselves to has power over us to determine the level of freedom that we will experience. This is true on all levels of life, whether it is physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. We should question authority, but not pick up the physical, figurative sword to fight it. We pick up the sword of Truth and say (and mean) something like, "This is the devil, trying to tempt me to believe that this is something that I must resist, when in truth it is not a presence, power or intelligence. It is nothing! It is an impersonal belief that has no power unless I give it! It is nothingness! Then we will rest in the Silence and allow ourselves to appreciate those words and bask in the Love and Joy of our Inner Being, which has no awareness of anything other than Itself, which is Infinite Love, Joy and Harmony, for there is no opposite nor opposition to God.

Refuse to Allow Guilt From the Past to Define You

"Practice enjoying the present moment, rather than using it up consumed with guilt over the past or worry about the future. Refuse to allow any thoughts based on your past to define you."
Dr. Wayne Dyer

Sunday, January 16, 2011

This World is a Projection of My Consciousness

This world is a projection of my consciousness. If I am seeing less than perfection, then I need to "go inside" and know, that in God's Kingdom, the Kingdom of Good, there are no opposites and there is no opposition. The statement, "No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper," is truth when we now realize that God has no opposites nor opposition, and that only Good can come, not only in my experience, but in the experience of others. Anything that is seeming to be otherwise is just that, a "seeming," an appearance, a belief in a separation from Good. It is nothingness. Then, rest in your realization, and allow the Good to Translate the picture into a higher form of experience.

The Right Attitude in Helping Others

When I offer help to others from the standpoint that I am strong, and they are weak, I am doing them no real service, in fact, it is actually adding to their problems. I have to see them in my mind and in my heart as already being perfect, which will open up gateways of good into their lives, because my smaller, reactionary self will be out of the way, and will no longer be contributing to their state of lack.
"I behold the Christ in you, and glory in your perfection." Once I accept this as being true, all is complete in my life because all is complete in Divine Mind and nothing needs to be done to make life perfect, for it already is. I behold the Perfection in all people, places, things and circumstances. There is nothing to resist; there is nothing to change, heal or correct in order for life to become Good, for it (again) already is. As I see only the Good, I attract only the Good, not only in the experience of myself but in those around me.

You Are Enough

Here is a video from Dr. David Walker of the Los Angeles Church of Religious Science that is great for making us feel good about ourselves. I hadn't heard of him before today.

Be Careful What You Agree On

Agreement is powerful, and creates the reality you experience. Take care what you agree on, with whom, and why.

Wanting

If I am holding on to wanting something, there is little room for having it, because my mind is too full of wanting, which creates a separation between me and my desired good.

Life's Meaning

Nothing has any meaning save the meaning you give it. This can change your entire experience of life. Repeat this quietly in your mind at any moment of stress or upset: Nothing has any meaning save the meaning I give it.

Neale Donald Walsch
