Since God Is No Respecter of Persons

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, "Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:"
Acts 10:34

I spent a lot of time during my spiritual life trying to get a fuller understanding about what this passage meant, for I felt that there was something deep and profound which might help explain to me why so many good, religious people may have so many trying experiences, especially when there are so many Bible promises to the contrary. This question also applied to the society that these good, religious people were a part of, including families, businesses, and even governments and nations. Then it began to dawn on me, just what this passage meant:

Since God is no respecter of persons, that would include all that the "persons" make up, which would include families, businesses, organizations, nations, churches, and, yes, even religions. No, if the individual wants the Grace of God to operate in their human affairs, it is up to them to invite God in to run things; and it is the further responsibility of the individual to let go of any human fears, judgments and condemnations of others that would stand in the way of the Grace of God from flowing. Even if we are not humanly in a place where we can do what is required to "get our human selves out of the way," we can turn such matters over to God, and let God do the forgiving through us. To put it simply, we Allow God in by sacrificing our negative traits and characteristics on the Alter of Spirit, and God does the rest in proportion to how much we are able to do this.

One of my favorite Bible passages when dealing with difficulties has been the 91st Psalm:
"He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

We are told here that the secret is to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, which is the key. When we start doing this our lives will change for the better, as will the lives of those with whom we come in contact, without our attempting to change them in any way. When enough people take up this practice, the transformation will expand to include not only our immediate circle of family and friends, but our organizations, businesses, governments, churches, religions, environment, and, ultimately, the rest of the world. But this cannot be done by our human efforts; there have been many Utopian attempts to make this a better world, and, unfortunately, all of them have failed, and some of them quite miserably.

The Power of Positive Imagination

It is of the Holiest of alliances when we use our imagination to see the highest and best in others. This not only frees us from the rebounding effect of our own human judgment, but frees others from the prisons of their self-judgment as well. How can you truly love someone when you are seeing him as being flawed in any way? All spiritual healing is self-healing, first.

To put it in a more practical way, when I become aware of someone with issues, I have to get to the place of experiencing that those "issues" are a lie about the son or daughter of God. However I do this does not matter, and will vary, depending on what state of awareness I happen to be in at the time.

I have recently been working with the methods of the Hawaiian healer, Hew Lin, who had some success healing patients while he was working in a mental hospital. He would hold the "patient" in his mind's eye, and say to him mentally, "I love. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you." He would do this over and over until he felt better about the person, which was his signal that his work was done.

"Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison."
Matthew 5:24-26

It should be noted that any thought or feeling that takes us away from our own peace of mind should be considered as an adversary.

Giving Thanks For The Opportunity

"I give thanks for every opportunity to demonstrate the power of Divine Intelligence to work through me. Anytime I am presented with a challenge, I know that it is an opportunity from God, my employer; and I quiet my intellect, turn within, and wait for positive words to fill my mind."

Louise L. Hay

The Temple Within You

Imagine a temple inside your mind, a haven from the chaos of the world. Visit often.
Marianne Williamson

You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where you don't know what was in the newspaper that morning, you don't know who your friends are, you don't know what you owe anybody, you don't know what anybody owes you. This is a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be.
Joseph Campbell

Though you may travel the world to find the beautiful, you must have it within you or you will find it not.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

We change the world not by what we say or do, but as a consequence of what we have become.

The Positive Results From Meditation

It looks like more of the leading edge scientists are discovering the positive effects of deep prayer and meditation:

Science of Mind magazine, June 2011
From the Science & Spirituality column by neuroscientists Waldman & Newberg, "Taming the Impatient Brain"

What happens in the brain when we learn patience? We stimulate the insula and striatum. For those of us who do spiritual practice, this is an exciting discovery: Meditation and deep prayer build patience because they stimulate the same reward circuits in the brain. At that moment, we feel satisfied. We don't NEED to have more of anything--food, money, affection--because we're getting it from the states of peacefulness and positive feelings being generated within the brain. Brainscan studies of meditators also show increased activity in the orbitofrontal cortex, an area that regulates impulsive decision making.

Praying For the Water of the Fukushima Nuclear Plant

UPDATE from Masaru Emoto:

Prayer Ceremony for the Water :
My message went around the whole world with tremendous speed, and the feedback of resonance which so many people participated in the prayer to water returned to me. The number of the feedbacks that I know for certain is at least more than 100,000.

As a matter of fact, it is important that we make this movement grow bigger and let many more friends learn about it. So I would like to continue to do the water ceremony for Fukushima Nuclear Plant for 10 more days, and will offer the prayer every day at noon between the 1st and the 10th of April with you all.

To refresh our conscious mind of everyday prayer, please let me suggest that we change the words each day. From many ideas and opinions that so many people have given me, I would like to select one to inform you.

The word of prayer of today, April 1st, is as follows:

To waters facing toward Fukushima Nuclear Plant,
We are sorry,
Please forgive us,
We thank you,
And we love you.

Masaru Emoto

ORIGINAL POST:

I found this on Alan Cohen's Facebook page, which is reposted from Masaru Emoto, the Japanese scientist who has done extensive research and written several books on the power of our thoughts on water. First, I will present a YouTube video of some of his works, and then share Alan Cohen's post.

March 31, 2011 (Thursday) @12:00 noon in each time zone. Please say the following phrase: “The water of Fukushima Nuclear Plant, we are sorry to make you suffer. Please forgive us. We thank you, and we love you.”
Please say it aloud or in your mind. Repeat it three times as you put your hands together in a prayer position. (requested by Masaru Emoto)

To All People Around the World

Please send your prayers of love and gratitude to water at the nuclear plants in Fukushima, Japan!

By the massive earthquakes of Magnitude 9 and surreal massive tsunamis, more than 10,000 people are still missing…even now… It has been 16 days already since the disaster happened. What makes it worse is that water at the reactors of Fukushima Nuclear Plants started to leak, and it’s contaminating the ocean, air and water molecule of surrounding areas.

Human wisdom has not been able to do much to solve the problem, but we are only trying to cool down the anger of radioactive materials in the reactors by discharging water to them.

Is there really nothing else to do?

I think there is. During over twenty year research of hado measuring and water crystal photographic technology, I have been witnessing that water can turn positive when it receives pure vibration of human prayer no matter how far away it is.

Energy formula of Albert Einstein, E=MC2 really means that Energy = number of people and the square of people’s consciousness.

Now is the time to understand the true meaning. Let us all join the prayer ceremony as fellow citizens of the planet earth. I would like to ask all people, not just in Japan, but all around the world to please help us to find a way out the crisis of this planet!!

The prayer procedure is as follows.

Name of ceremony:

“Let’s send our thoughts of love and gratitude to all water in the nuclear plants in Fukushima”

Day and Time:

March 31st, 2011 (Thursday)

12:00 noon in each time zone

Please say the following phrase:

“The water of Fukushima Nuclear Plant, we are sorry to make you suffer. Please forgive us. We thank you, and we love you.”

Please say it aloud or in your mind. Repeat it three times as you put your hands together in a prayer position.

Please offer your sincere prayer.

Thank you very much from my heart.

With love and gratitude,

Masaru Emoto
